Mark has experience delivering therapy to adults of all ages, ranging from young adults with anxiety, to adults in later life with chronic health concerns. Mark draws upon a broad range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Behaviour Therapy. He also employs elements of other therapy approaches, such as Schema and Interpersonal Therapy to help achieve the best outcomes for his clients.

Mark’s style can be described as caring, conversational, collaborative, and non-judgemental. When working with his clients, Mark’s first goal is to build a trusting and collaborative relationship. His aim is to help the client make positive changes in their life, firstly through gaining a greater understanding of themselves and their world, secondly through setting meaningful goals, and then finally through learning new skills and making changes to achieve their goals.

Before studying psychology as a mature aged student Mark work in a number of diverse fields, including sports coaching, green keeping, woodwork, and ‘stay at home’ dad.
