Healthpages.Wiki is a free-to-use semantic wiki with the purpose of providing the health community with consistent, up-to-date information on health services. The platform is a wiki, similar to Wikipedia’s Wiki, where users can view, edit, add data – and download data for free. It is designed to facilitate collaborative authoring in healthcare. Healthpages.wiki borrows extensively from and harmonizes with existing ontologies to maximize the ability to share data with external applications and data sources.

Launched 2015, Healthpages.Wiki is an online collection of structured data harvested and kept up to date from many sources, including industry, government agencies and user-submitted wiki contributions. There is no pharmaceutical or device industry support for the site. It features comprehensive in depth source of data on HealthCare professionals, Organisations, Hospitals, Clinics, Pharmacy Services, Pathology Services, Radiology Services, Publications, Events, Apps and range of Health Topics including Medical Conditions and Interventions. Our information is enhanced by additional analytics, news and social media conversatios that we are linking to via the semantic web, which encourages collaboration and engagement.

Healthpages.Wiki provides a revolutionary marketing platform to Australian healthcare service providers to generate high-quality patient referrals and demonstrate thought leadership in their areas of clinical practice.Combining a next-generation health directory with an innovative news and social-media platform, Healthpages.wiki bridges the gap between patient and practitioners, empowering patients to find the right practitioner for their needs.

Data quality is key to the success of Healthpages.Wiki and we are making every effort to ensure that only validated data are included in the platform. The user community can help expand the data and increase accuracy, which is what really strengthens this platform. In addition, we have data/content experts who will help evaluate submissions.

Healthpages.Wiki uses an agile development process in order to build tools that matter and that take advantage of the best new technologies. Please offer your feedback on how we can grow, add new datasets or even link with other services. Tell us how we are doing and let us know what we can do better.

We invite you to join our user community and get involved. With your help, we can provide the most current information to patients, healthcare providers and researchers around the world. Your data will also help create new businesses, build innovative tools and inspire new analyses.
