Dr Megan Carters (Psychologist)
Megan is passionate about working with children, adolescents, young adults and families. She is experienced in working with individuals and families affected by anxiety, depression, stress, disordered eating, body image concerns, self-esteem, bullying, anger, sleep problems, behavioural issues and social skills difficulties. Megan is experienced in using several evidence based treatment approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family-Based Treatment for eating disorders, parent training and mindfulness-based approaches. Megan has a background in the public health system, and has trained at Canberra Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital.
