Dr Vivaldi completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2001 and his Masters in Orthodontics in 2004, both in renowned institutions in Brazil. He opened his private practice in 2001 in Brazil and operated it successfully until 2013 when he moved to Australia with his family. Dr Vivaldi was delighted to recently be granted his dental registration in Australia and is in the process of pursuing his Australian orthodontic specialist registration.
Since qualifying as a doctor in Brazil, Dr Vivaldi has undertaken further Post-Graduate studies, which include a Mini-Residency in Orthodontics at the University of Michigan, as well as a residency in Dental Implantology. He has over 12 years of orthodontic experience. Dr Vivaldi treats patients with complex Invisalign® cases, achieving a prominent position within the Invisalign® community in Brazil where he has become an Invisalign® presenter, including undertaking a position as a visiting teacher at the State University of Maringá in the Masters of Orthodontics program. In 2012, Dr Vivaldi was invited to visit the primary Invisalign® facility in Costa Rica, and shortly after that he founded the first study group in South America in this field. On the basis of his Brazilian registration, Dr Vivaldi holds the following memberships: World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), Brazilian Association of Orthodontists (ABO). He is also a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
Dr Vivaldi is a proud father of two beautiful children and enjoys exercising, dining and wine.
