Dr Ribeiro completed her dental degree at the University of Sao Paulo, a highly renowned dental university, and undertook her orthodontic specialty training in Brazil. She worked several years as a general dentist/orthodontist in Brazil before migrating to Australia in 2007.
Aiming to expand her knowledge and expertise in orthodontics and in the field of growth and development of teeth, face and cranium, Dr Ribeiro was accepted in the PhD program at the University of Adelaide. Her PhD thesis was awarded the 2012 University of Adelaide Doctoral Research Medal for her achievements,of which results were published in renowned journals in the dental field. During her years as a researcher, she taught clinical orthodontics to undergraduate students and also obtained her dental registration in Australia.
Dr Ribeiro’s love and devotion to orthodontics propelled her to continue her studies in Australia whereshe was accepted in the prestigious Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics program at The University of Adelaide and obtained her full registration as a Specialist Orthodontist in Australia.
Dr Ribeiro is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, Australian Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and a fellow member of the World Federation of Orthodontics. She is also a certified member of the Australasian Orthodontic Board (AOB).
Dr Ribeiro is an avid supporter for continuous learning and uses the latest cutting edge technology like Invisalign and SureSmile, ensuring you receive the best results possible.
Dr Ribeiro is a proud mother and enjoys spending time with her daughter, yoga and in her kitchen lab.
