Dr Yong is a Certified Urogynaecologist and Female Pelvic Floor Reconstruction Surgeon practices in both public and private hospital. He joined the Royal Women’s Hospital Pelvic Floor Unit in 2016 and completed three year subspecialty training in Urogynaecology. He employs holistic patient care and frequently collaborates with the multidisciplinary team consisting of pelvic floor physiotherapists and continence nurse specialists, focusing on conservative management of pelvic floor disorders. Dr Yong has special interest in minimal access surgery and offers various advanced laparoscopic or robotic pelvic floor reconstruction options to his patients.
Apart from clinical appointments, Dr Yong is also actively involved in the clinical education and research projects focusing on conservative management and native tissue surgical correction for pelvic organ prolapse. He is multilingual with ability to converse fluently in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.
