Dr. Charlie Chia-Ti Cheng graduated from the University of Otago in Dunedin, NZ and subsequently completed his residency in Auckland and Wellington Hospitals. He has extensive subspecialties training including Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal, Endocrine, Neurology, Haematology and Oncology during his physician training years so he can provide holistic cares to his patients. Due to his extensive training, he decided to take on dual training in Geriatric and General Medicine. He completed all his training from Bankstown, Wollongong, Shellharbour, St George and Sutherland Hospitals.

Dr Cheng's particular interests is in dementia, psychiatric illness associated with dementia (BPSD, Depression etc.), polypharmacy, endocrinology in elderly (osteoporosis and diabetes), Rheumatology, and community health in aged care facilities.

Dr Cheng speaks fluent Mandarin, in addition to English.
