Dr Leslie Shaw manages both paediatric and adult ENT condition. He has special interest in paediatric ENT, Rhinology, clinical research, teaching and medical education.
Dr Shaw does not see patients for Work Cover, third party compensation claim or cosmetic surgery.
Dr Shaw is the first locally trained ENT surgeon in South Australia awarded the higher research degree of Master of surgery and he was also awarded multiple times for excellence in clinical teaching in the MBBS, by the University of Adelaide.
Dr Shaw is a senior visiting specialist at the Women's and Children's Hospital and Modbury Hospital. He can arrange surgical treatment for your uninsured patients directly at those two hospitals. Dr Shaw can also arrange surgery at two private hospitals, The Memorial Hospital, North Adelaide and Stirling District Hospital, Stirling.
Dr Shaw is a Clinical Senior Lecturer and supervisor for ENT teaching for year 4-6 medical student. He is also a supervisor for advanced ENT training for local surgical trainees and international medical graduates. Dr Shaw has been invited numerously by Adelaide to Outback to teach their GP registrars & supervisors in ENT knowledge & skills since 2006.
