Dr Alissa Walsh is a Consultant Gastroenterologist.
She is the Head of the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Service at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney and is currently completing a National Health & Medical Research Council Fellowship (the peak Australian Federal Government sponsored body for medical research). Alissa is the lead author of “Case Histories in Gastroenterology and Hepatology” published by the Oxford University Press, is reviewer for a number of medical journals, speaks regularly at medical conferences and has several current and ongoing research projects.
