David completed a Bachelor of Psychology with Honours and a Masters of Clinical Psychology. He is an Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registered Clinical Psychologist, and PsyBA approved supervisor, as well as a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). David has spent some years providing group therapy for those suffering PTSD using targeted cognitive behavioural therapy for PTSD (CPT - Cognitive Processing Therapy). He has experience working and supervising in long term approaches to psychological difficulties which underpin other therapeutic modalities. David has worked with adolescents and adults across the lifespan. He has experience in clinical observation of children and infants, which informs his understanding of psychological, neurological and psychobiological development. He has worked running groups for those affected by PTSD and complex PTSD. He works mainly in private practice in longer term therapy to address underlying issues and provide long term, sustainable outcomes for patients.
