I have over 20 years' experience working in schools as a psychologist and as a teacher. My experience has allowed me to work with a breadth of clients from various population groups, including disadvantaged groups and indigenous communities. I have worked extensively with young people from the ages of 5-18 and their families with the goal of always being respectful, an advocate and assisting clients to navigate their difficulties so that they can lead a rich and full life. I have worked with staff, assisting them to navigate through critical incidents, often managing incidents across a district of schools. I have worked in telehealth for two years with a variety of client's including people experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, interpersonal difficulties, personality disorders and, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD and grief and loss. I have a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and Sociology, a Bachelor of Education Degree majoring in special education (can teach primary and secondary) and am a Certified Divorce Coach. I am registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and use a wide range of evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution Based Therapy and am guided strongly by the principles of positive psychology.
