Stephanie has a particular passion for working with families of children with challenging behaviours, and improving communication between parents and children. Stephanie frequently works on emotion regulation skills and social skills training with children with Autism, as well as often working with children with ADHD on organisational skills. She has worked individually with children experiencing anxiety and mood disorders, using Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy and incorporating elements from other therapies. Stephanie has extensive experience working with families with children with behavioural difficulties, using both Parent Management Training and Collaborative & Proactive Solutions. She previously worked as Australia’s only private CPS psychologist at the UTS Health Psychology Unit, now known as The Kidman Centre.
Stephanie also assists the clinic in conducting academic and cognitive assessments for children with a variety of presentations, including ADHD, learning difficulties, and giftedness. She continued her development as a psychologist through the Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Technology, Sydney, and is most of the way through her clinical psychology registrar program, which has helped her further consolidate her skills.
