Sophie is a registered psychologist with a Master in Education and Developmental Psychology from the University of Melbourne. Her research focused on motivation and the preconditions for optimal wellbeing and development. Her training is integrative, evidence-based and incorporates cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and solution-focused therapy, as well as strengths-based and mindfulness approaches. Sophie has a background in working with children and young people across Government and private settings. Sophie has supported these clients by working together on social skills development, emotional issues (depression, anxiety and anger), understanding individual differences and executive functioning. Sophie has also treated adults for stress, anxiety and depression. Further, she has experience in supporting people in life transitions, such as school or vocational changes. She can help people understand themselves and achieve personal goals if they have neurodiversity, such as ADHD, Autism or a learning difference.
