Sarah has over 15 years of experience as a psychologist, working with children, adolescents and their families. She has spent the majority of her career working as a therapist on a child and adolescent mental health team within the public health system in NSW, supporting children and their families who were experiencing significant mental health challenges. She enjoys working with families who are experiencing big, overwhelming emotions and behaviours. But as a elf confessed ‘brain nerd’, she excels at translating complex brain science into language and practical tools that are easy to understand and accessible for children and their families. Sarah has a particular interest in working with children and teens who are experiencing anxiety and perfectionism that are interfering with school life, home life, and relationships - including OCD, panic attacks, social anxiety and specific phobias. Sarah completed a Bachelor Psychology and a Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Western Sydney and is registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Sarah is trained in several evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
