My training has been primarily in the area of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy which I use as a solid base from which to work flexibly in a client focused and evidence based manner.
I completed my training at Flinders University and hold an Honours degree in Behavioural Science and a Clinical Masters in Psychology, as well as a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice.
My work history includes working with children, individuals living with disability and adult mental health. My professional interests including treating adults and adolescents experiencing anxiety disorders, mood disorders and managing chronic health conditions alongside mental health difficulties. Specifically, I have experience with generalised anxiety, health anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, gambling issues, social anxiety, panic, depression, adjustment disorders and PTSD, postnatal depression, postnatal anxiety and grief. I am an eligible provider of non-directive pregnancy support counselling services under Medicare and have a general interest in working with perinatal issues, clinically and otherwise.
My goal is to provide psychological support and treatment for all, regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, gender or sexual identity.
