Perth Psychological Services (PPS) is a Clinical Psychology private practice established in 2006 by Suzanne Midford, with rooms in Mt Hawthorn (head office), Midland, and Mandurah. The practice specialises in the assessment and treatment of mental health issues across the lifespan. Our large team of Clinical Psychologists, Clinical Psychologist Registrars and Speech Pathologists undertake both assessments and therapeutic interventions across a broad range of issues and specialties. This includes complex cognitive and psycho-educational assessments. Our clinicians are registered with Medicare and Private Health Funds to ensure rebates are provided whenever possible.

PPS has staff with a broad diversity of specialities including depression, anxiety and panic, self-esteem, relationship issues, family concerns, parenting issues, adolescent behaviour, health and wellbeing, childhood trauma, trauma including post-traumatic stress, work related stress and career issues, substance misuse and other dependencies, postnatal depression, sexuality, chronic and terminal illness, grief and loss, bereavement. We have particular expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). We undertake assessments for children from 18 months of age through to adulthood. In addition, we also offer pre-employment testing and assessment. All of our clinical and administrative staff have Working with Children Cards and are experienced in working with children, parents and families as well as the broader community. We are a recognised provider of services to Government via contracts with State Government Departments including: Health; Disability Services Commission; Families and Child Protection; and Legal Aid; as well as from Workers Compensation and Motor Vehicle Injury insurers. PPS also works privately and accept referrals from General Practitioners, Paediatricians and Psychiatrists. As part of our commitment to providing quality services, we have post graduate psychology students on placement in the practice. These individuals learn about private practice and the provision of services but are also available to provide some very low cost services to particular families under the supervision of their Clinical Psychologist Supervisor.
