Rose is an educational and developmental psychologist who specialises in children and adolescents and also works with adults. She is a trained mediator and adoption assessor. As a former school counsellor (spanning over 20 years) she has a good understanding of the school systems and issues related to schools. As a current president of the NSW parents of Independent schools council, she is aware of the issues impacting on families.

Rose has lectured in Psychometric Assessment in the Master of Educational Psychology Program at the University of Western Sydney and fomer Associate of Macquarie University, Australian College of Applied Psychology and University of Western Sydney. She was active in her role as member of the advisory committee to the Faculty of Psychology at the Australian Catholic University, Strathfield. From 2003 to 2016 she was Supervisor to Clinical Provisional Psychologists from Western Sydney University.. Her interests are she in areas of mental health and special education specific to young people.

As former chair of the Australian Psychological Society Sydney, Rose has been involved extensively in the promotion of psychological practice in NSW She has also be active in promoting for educational needs of all young people during her board tenure on SPELD NSW and the NSW Board of Studies (now known as NESA). Rose has presented in local and international conferences in the area of boys connectedness . Rose has completed her PhD at Sydney University on Boys School Connectedness.

Rose's background in teaching as a trained teacher and her formal qualifications from Macquarie University as a special education teacher, gives her the experience and expertise when formulating a diagnosis and developing workable recommendation for any learning and behavioural issues in children and adolescents. Her experiences and connections with current association and Universities stead with the latest trends and research. T

Rose is a certified parent trainer in the "Parenting with Love and Limits program" This program caters for parents of adolescents with challenging behaviours who have lost their empowerment over their adolescents. The program involves working with parents together with their adolescent children.
