Pamela completed her clinical training at the University of Sydney, where she obtained a combined Doctor of Clinical Psychology and Master of Science degree. She is passionate about assisting others to overcome problems and challenges, by helping to develop insight into one’s difficulties, drawing on personal strengths, and providing skills that can bring about effective and positive change. Pamela works with children, adolescents and adults who may be experiencing a range of difficulties, including (but not limited to) depression, anxiety (generalised anxiety, social anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, panic attacks, specific phobias, separation anxiety), adjustment difficulties, poor self-esteem, identity issues, perfectionism, study or work-related stress, relationship difficulties, interpersonal difficulties, and emotion regulation difficulties. She is able to provide short-term interventions or longer-term therapy, depending on the needs and complexity of issues. Pamela draws on a range of therapeutic approaches to individualise each treatment plan according to the needs and goals of each client. These approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
