Nicky has been Senior Clinical Psychologist at St Vincent's Hospital Rehabilitation Service for more than 15 years. She was recently Head of Psychology at St Vincent's Hospital for 4 years and has now moved to private practice full time.
Nicky has extensive experience in the management of depression, anxiety, chronic pain, adjustment to disability and illness, post traumatic stress disorder, cognitive impairment, carer concerns, and living with chronic health problems including cancer.
She has a warm, gentle manner and values a client-focused, team approach to the mental health care of her patients. She believes that medium to long-term psychotherapy enables more long-lasting personal change than briefer options.
