Molly is a clinical psychologist with over 17 years experience treating a diverse range of mental health concerns in adults and adolescents. Molly has assisted clients experiencing depression, anxiety, acute stress, grief, workplace issues, trauma, anger, parenting and relationship difficulties and concerns related to injury, illness or disability. Molly has special interest and expertise in working with couples and delivering mental health group programs.
Prior to working at CBT Professionals, Molly has worked within the public and private sector as a clinician and in senior management roles. Molly has worked within an inpatient facility providing CBT counseling, delivering group programs and working with day patients with acute and chronic mental illness. Molly has particular experience in vocational counseling, assessments and rehabilitation. Molly also has experience working with managers, teams and employees providing corporate training, executive coaching, counseling and critical incident debriefing following traumatic events.
Molly’s therapeutic practice integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness. Molly has trained large groups of allied health professionals, supervised psychologists in-training and lectured at Griffith University. Molly is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and member of the College of Clinical Psychologists.
Molly grew up on the Gold Coast and has recently moved back home after living in Perth for a couple of years. She has travelled overseas widely, however, holds Italy and Japan dearest to her. Molly is caring, curious and respectful and takes a client-centered approach. She is dedicated to helping her clients achieve their goals, improve psychological wellbeing and live valued lives.
