Michelle sees children, adolescents and adults I am dedicated to providing high quality, caring, individualised treatment to my clients.
I have over ten years of clinical experience and specialise in treating child and adolescent issues, insomnia, anxiety, eating disorders, binge eating, and obesity. I have worked in the United Kingdom, Sydney and Perth across adult mental health and child and adolescent services.
My training is in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and I have undertaken specialist training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Circle of Security and Family Therapy. My qualifications include a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Psychology from the University of Western Australia. I am fully registered with the Psychology Board of Australia.
I also have a keen interest in research, and have presented at a number of national conferences, and published papers and book chapters in the field of obesity and eating disorders. I work part-time in private practice and also supervise clinicians on a multi-site randomized controlled trial of a treatment for eating disorders.
