A registered Psychologist and PhD candidate with a special interest in pain management and sleep problems. She has worked in the area of pain for the past 6 years. This has include conducting group programs and individual sessions at the Pain Medicine Unit at Fremantle Hospital, the Arthritis Foundation of Western Australia and both Bentley and Rockingham Medicare Locals.
She completed a BA in Psychology (hons.) in Perth and is currently completing a combined degree, Masters in Applied Psychology: Clinical psychology together with a PhD at Murdoch University. She has completed all the components of the Masters and is close to finalising her PhD.
After far too many years studying Mary is very excited to be starting her career in private practice. During her time as a poor student she has supplemented her income by working as a secretary for Dr Davies and Dr Cooke, something that she still does occasionally to help them out. She has two children and in her spare time (when she is not studying or working) she has been settling in her sons new pet snake, bender, while wondering how she let her son to talk her into that!
