Marilyn graduated in 2000 from James Cook University and spent many years working in the Non-Government and Government sectors of the community. In her 15 years of therapy work she has worked with children, families, adolescents, adults and couples in indigenous and non-indigenous communities.

Marilyn has focused on developing effective therapy that offers change that individuals or families are seeking. Marilyn works to support people with all types of issues that are impacting their lives including Panic Disorder, OCD, Social Anxiety, Phobias, Post-Traumatic Stress, stress and worry, depression; grief and loss; past childhood abuse; issues associated with cultural marginalisation, family and domestic violence; relationship issues; support with parenting, and behavioural and emotional issues for children.
