I am a Registered Psychologist with over 20 years of professional experience. I assist clients to develop skills and utilise their strengths, to better manage the stresses of daily life that can so easily affect our mental health. I am passionate about helping others to alleviate their suffering, enhance their well-being and relationships and enjoy a more fulfilling life.
I see clients across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults and seniors)and use an eclectic, whole person approach. This involves drawing from a wide range of therapies, tailored for the individual, to best assist you to regain a sense of your own agency and a return to enjoying life.
I have successfully treated people with a wide range of mental health concerns such as anxiety and phobias, depression, stress management, trauma, suicide ideation, PTSD, anger management, grief, bereavement, adjusting to separation/divorce, intimacy issues, addictions, work related issues, and relationships issues (couples counselling).
I believe the key to good mental health and resilience is learning to relax and unwind the nervous system, which can be achieved through relaxation training, mindfulness, hypnosis and self-compassion.
I am available to see couples, families and individuals on Tuesday and Thursday at Queensgate Psychology Centre. I look forward to meeting you and assisting you reach your wellbeing goals.
