Kathleen completed her physiotherapy degree in 1996. She took on Allocation in 1997 at Westmead Hospital. After her first year, she moved to Liverpool Hospital and during this time worked closely with the Hand Surgeons and led the Hand Clinic and Outpatient physiotherapy unit. In 1999, Kathleen went on a working holiday over to the UK, and on her way back to Sydney, spent 3months in China observing, learning and practising Acupuncture in a hospital rehabilitation setting. Upon her return to Sydney mid-2000, Kathleen decided it was time to ‘grow-up’, ‘be serious’, and focus on her professional career and move into Private Practice.
In 2003/2004 Kathleen completed her Masters Degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Sports Physiotherapy. Having worked in multiple private practice locations with varying demographics, Kathleen decided that Carlingford was her ‘ideal” practice and location. She started working at this location in 2004.
