Julie is a psychologist and educator of over 25 years experience across primary, secondary and tertiary settings, and she is endorsed by the Psychology Board of Australia as an Educational & Developmental Psychologist, as well as a Counselling Psychologist. Over the years, Julie's work has spanned diverse contexts and populations, from Kensington (Sydney) to Mt Druitt, Port Moresby to Wewak (PNG), Wilcannia to Mudgee.
Apart from client work related to neurodevelopmental impairments (learning difficulties, semantic / pragmatic communication difficulties, autism spectrum impairments) and behavioural challenges, Julie currently carries out consultancy and professional development work with educational and child-focused organisations. Julie has a particular interest in differentiation, inclusivity, and the behaviour and cognitive frameworks of the learner in context.
Her current doctoral studies are in the area of imagined learners and learners who learn differently.
