I have been a registered psychologist for 20 years, experienced in private practice, as a consultant school psychologist as well as in government and non-government agencies. I have gained full professional accreditation as a Myers-Briggs consultant and I am an accredited Triple P and PCS provider. I am a registered Medicare as well as ATAPS provider with Northern Sydney.
The therapeutic approach used primarily encompasses Strength Based Therapy with strategies typical of Solution Focussed and CBT, although with a narrative therapy style and will use play and creative therapies where appropriate.
I seek to have an authentic & collaborative relationship with my clients. I will approach any concern raised which is impacting on one's quality of life. I will take into consideration behavioural, cognitive, emotional and spiritual needs. The goal and intent of therapy is to empower the individual with their own resources, strengths and skills to live and embrace life more fully.
