Janet Conti is a Clinical Psychologist who works with people experiencing a range of psychological difficulties including eating disorders, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma and abuse. Her work draws from a range of therapeutic interventions that are tailored to a person’s/family's needs and preferences. Her practice focuses on the area of eating disorders, weight and body image concerns.
Janet values practice based evidence through drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to individualise treatment with primary consideration being given to what is viewed as helpful for the person/s with whom she consults.
Janet has a Ph.D. that is an enquiry into women’s experiences of anorexia nervosa over ten years. She also works as a lecturer at Western Sydney University in the Master of Clinical Psychology program.
She consults on Thursdays between 830am and 3pm.
