Jamie has been a full member of the Australian Psychological Society for 28 years.
She earned her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Melbourne and her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
Jamie has been working with couples for many years and has earned the reputation of succeeding with the most conflicted couples. She is certified as a Relationship Coach and initially was personally trained by Dr John Gray and Drs Gay and Kathleen Hendricks.
More recently Jamie spent a year’s sabbatical training in person with leading edge couples therapist luminaries Dr Stan Tatkin (PACT) in Los Angeles, Dr Les Greenberg (EFT for Couples) at York University, Toronto and Dr Sue Johnson (EFT for Couples) at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in New York, including work with esteemed psychologist, author and men’s work expert, Dr Robert Augustus Masters.
In addition, Jamie utilizes the work of John Gottman, Michele Weiner-Davis and Peter Levine and also speaks from personal experience, but most of all, Jamie makes use of the couple’s own innate talents and abundant resources.
