Hoda is a Clinical and Educational & Developmental Psychologist who brings 18 years of experience in providing best practice assessment, therapy and interventions to empower and assist children, adults and families. Working collaboratively with parents and families, Hoda believes in providing practical and individually tailored evidence-based intervention to assist with a range of emotional, social, behavioural and developmental difficulties.
She has extensive experience in providing individual and group therapy for issues such as anxiety, depression, selective mutism, social skills, grief and loss, separation/divorce, and post-natal issues. Her experience also includes considerable expertise in psychometric testing, such as assessment of intellectual ability (IQ) and educational assessments.
Hoda has worked in private schools, private hospitals and a number of teams with government health services including Child and Family Teams, Child Development Services, Community Counselling and Sexual Assault. She is also an accredited Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) practitioner and an accredited facilitator of the Tuning in to Kids: Emotionally Intelligent Parenting Program.
Hoda holds a Masters of Psychology Educational and Developmental, and is endorsed as both a Clinical Psychologist and Educational & Developmental Psychologist by AHPRA. She holds full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (Reg No: PSY 0001303334) and is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society.
