Gillian is a registered psychologist with over 20 years experience as a clinician working in government and non-government agencies, and in private practice. For the majority of this time, she has also held an academic position involving teaching and research, and supervising postgraduate psychology students. Gillian has extensive clinical experience and works collaboratively with clients. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches in her work with adults and adolescents who present with clinical and non-clinical issues. Gillian also has extensive experience in the preparation of victim compensation and court reports.
Gillian provides clinical supervision and mentoring for postgraduate counselling, psychology and social work students, as well as for provisional psychologists seeking general registration, and registered psychologists for CPD requirements.
Gillian is a founding member of the Association of Counselling Psychologists and has been active in the promotion of the profession.
