Emily is the Principal Psychologist and Co-Founder at Get Mentally Fit.
She is most passionate about proactively guiding individual clients and organisations through the beneficial process of developing preventive and practical skills, that enhance sustainable mental wellbeing. Emily effectively integrates Positive Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Based Therapy, Mental Toughness and Resilience, Habit Forming, and Mindfulness within her evidence-based practice.
Having previously consulted, as a Psychologist, to highly respected National psychology consultancy firms, Emily brings 12 years of academic and practical experience. She is a sought-after program facilitator, and an expert panelist, covering topics including mental health, mental fitness, resilience, work-life balance, and a diverse range of related wellbeing topics.
Emily has previously assisted whole organisations, teams, and individuals, better manage mental health, mental fitness, and workplace stress, by developing their awareness and guiding their practical implementation of proactive, effective, positive, mental health practices and habits.
Emily balances her mental fitness with running and weight training with friends, strolling or cycling along the stunning Gold Coast beaches, or by enjoying a rolling Hinterland drive in her Mini, usually with a mandatory lunch included.
