Ms Deni Fowle (Psychologist)

Deni is a Registered Psychologist with over 15 years of experience conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and psychological interventions with children and adolescents. Her work is focused on providing a supportive, collaborative approach to counselling and interventions, working with people and or alongside families to help their child. With extensive skills assisting children in developing their ‘psychological toolkit’ to manage difficulties associated with Anxiety and/or Depression, she also enjoys engaging creatively with children, and often employs art, craft and play therapies to foster learning and psychological development.

Deni, also a mother of two, has a son with a rare genetic condition called Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. As a result, he has global developmental delays, behavioural issues and intellectual disabilities. This enables Deni to bring to her role a personal experience of the disability services sector.

She understands the need for and importance of providing trans-disciplinary services and a high level of skill in working empathetically and cooperatively with the parents of children living with autism and other disabilities.
