Cathy is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who has many years of working with children, adolescents, adults and older persons. She has extensive Mental Health knowledge, having worked in both the government sectors and private practice. She has also been a Clinical Psychology Educator and is a registered Supervisor for Areas of Practice Endorsement. Cathy has had diverse cultural experiences having been trained in South Africa, working and living in Canada; and in Australia for the past ten years. She is an endorsed Clinical Psychologist with AHPRA, the APS Clinical College and ACPA. She works effectively within an Interpersonal model of Psychotherapy with each individual, couple or family, to change their ways of interacting with others, to enable positive outcomes and diminished mental health issues. Coping skills and new strategies are integrated into the therapeutic process to achieve a functional, holistic way of engaging in everyday living and taking on challenging new goals. As well as working with Mental Health difficulties, she has a keen interest in Psychometric Assessment, Personality Disorders and Ethical Issues related to Professional Practice Standards.
