Anita completed her Masters in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People at Edinburgh University, Scotland. She is a very experienced psychologist who has worked across a variety of clinical settings including forensic, disability and child mental health services in the UK and Australia for over ten years. Anita is passionate about providing gold-standard assessments and evidence-based interventions to children and adults who are experiencing a range of difficulties. She is able to support children with a broad range of mental health presentations and is particularly passionate about supporting young people with Autism and complex issues. Anita is one of five psychologists at E&A who dedicate part of their caseload to the assessment and treatment of children with Autism Spectrum Conditions. Her approach varies according to the needs of the person based on a number of therapeutic models including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT). She is registered with the Psychology Board of Australia (PBA) and is a member of the Australian Psychology Society (APS). Anita is recognised as a Psychologist by Medicare Australia.
