Recently he completed a six month advanced training program with Dr Michael Yapko, a world leader in the treatment of depression and the application of clinical hypnosis.
Wade recently had this to say on the subject of therapy…
“I believe that the opportunity for powerful learning and lasting change is lost if the client does not come away with a very clear and transformational experience that is anchored by specific skills that have been rehearsed and applied in the client’s life. There are many strategies that can be applied in therapy to enhance the memory and application of the learnings achieved in therapy. These include: carefully structured sessions that have an agreed agenda and objective, provision of reading material covering key ideas, providing recordings of sessions that can be reviewed after the session, and looping back over central ideas to deepen and integrate new learnings. The primary objective of this therapy guide is to provide you with a further tool to rehearse and imbed key ideas covered in therapy.”
