Marie is a warm and approachable Clinical Psychologist who will work with you in a collaborative way to understand and work through the difficulties you are facing. She is passionate about helping her clients lead rewarding and meaningful lives in line with their personal values. She works with adolescents and adults presenting with a wide range of psychological difficulties, including post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, anger management difficulties, interpersonal or relationship concerns, and personality disorders.
Marie’s approach to therapy is an integrative one, drawing on the evidence base to tailor treatment to your specific needs. She has trained in the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused therapy.
Marie has worked with clients in both public hospital and private settings and within the corporate sector. She is endorsed by the Psychology Board of Australia to provide supervision and training to postgraduate psychology students.
