Lauren Baker is a Clinical Psychologist earning her Bachelor of Psychology at the University of New England (Armidale) and Master of Clinical Psychology at Griffith University (Gold Coast). Lauren has experience in both public and private health care settings. Lauren mainly works from an evidence based cognitive behavioural framework; however she uses an eclectic approach to ensure treatment plans are individualised with a strong focus on the neuroscience behind mental health difficulties. Lauren works with both adolescents and adults, who present with a broad range of difficulties, including: anxiety disorders, depression, grief and loss, relationship and adjustment difficulties, and chronic health problems. Lauren also has a strong interest in suicide prevention. Lauren is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) including the APS Clinical College.
