Julie is a Registered Psychologist who has been providing psychological based services to children, adolescents and adults on the Gold Coast over the past 11 years. Julie has worked in community organisations, Griffith University and Queensland health. Julie is now working in private practice with adults and has experience with the treatment and management of depression, anxiety disorders, stress, anger, life transitions and parenting interventions. She has an interest in childhood experiences and how they can continue to shape experiences during adulthood. Julie uses Cognitive Behavioural Therapy while drawing on attachment and developmental theories and mindfulness principles to tailor treatments to suit her client’s needs. She supports her clients with kindness and curiosity as they explore their life experiences, enhance their understanding of themselves (and their relationships) and overcome challenges.
