By joining the neuroCare Group, Jon has returned to his particular area of specialisation and greatest passion, neuromodulation, within the practice of psychology. Jon has been a registered psychologist for over 12 years. He was trained at the University of Western Sydney where he attained Master’s Degrees in Developmental Psychopathology and Educational and Developmental Psychology.

He has worked across a number of public and private settings including four years in private practice as a Neurotherapist specialising in Neurofeedback. During his private practice years Jon’s focus was on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment – predominantly utilising Neurofeedback, of ADHD, ODD and other neurodevelopmental disorders of childhood and adolescence. His work with adults included primarily the many manifestations of Depression and Anxiety, as well as adult ADHD.

After private practice Jon was employed for a number of years with International Corporate Psychology providers where he was responsible for the delivery of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP’s) and a member of the Critical Incident Response Team (Trauma counselling).

The EAP service was all encompassing and clients presented with any number of varying psychological concerns. The Trauma work involved both the initial response as well as ongoing counselling in the weeks following an incident.

By joining the neuroCare Group, Jon has returned to his particular area of specialisation and greatest passion, neuromodulation, within the practice of psychology.

In addition to his long term expertise with Neurofeedback, Jon has become specialised in neuroCare’s personalised Neurofeedback approach and repetitive Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS). He is also an accredited trainer in quantitative electroencephalography (QEEG).

Jon’s emphasis is on the individual and not on the ‘Disorder’ per se. His integrated approach is a perfect match for neuroCare. He is a very welcome member of the team.
