Joanna has completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) and a Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology. Joanna is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Joanna is currently completing the Educational and Developmental Psychology Registrar program. Joanna utilises a strengths-based and holistic approach with families, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness frameworks. Joanna has a special interest in supporting families of young children through difficult experiences, such as worry and anxiety, challenging behaviours, and developing skills in emotional and behavioural regulation. Joanna has experience with and is passionate about supporting neurodiverse (such as autistic and ADHD) children, as well as children with anxiety, depression, intellectual disability, and a variety of other developmental disorders and mental health challenges.
