Qualifications: Jenna has completed seven years of study at the University of Queensland to attain her registration as a psychologist. She completed a Master of Clinical Psychology and is currently in the Clinical Registrar program.  Jenna has worked with adolescents and adults in both private practice and community settings. She has experience working with clients whose presentations include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety disorders, bi-polar disorder, low self-esteem, anger management and difficulty adjusting to changed life circumstances.

Jenna completed her initial training at the Parenting and Family Support Centre where she became an accredited Triple P provider in both Standard and Stepping Stones group Triple P. Jenna also completed her Masters thesis on Family Transitions Triple P for parents and children adjusting to divorce. Since this time Jenna has worked with adults with complex and severe mental health problems in a community adult mental health service.

Jenna provides therapy from a Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) framework. When appropriate, she also uses techniques from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy. Jenna also uses motivational interviewing and values work for clients who are at the contemplative stage of change. She has experience in performing both cognitive and personality assessments.  Jenna provides evidence based, time limited psychological services. Her aim is to support clients in developing insight into how their thoughts and behaviours impact their mood and to learn skills to effectively manage their mental health. Her clinical approach balances evidence-based rigour with genuine, warm and individualised care.
