Emily Wynter is an experienced and friendly registered psychologist who brings a compassionate, thoughtful and practical approach to her work. Emily enjoys tailoring interventions towards individual patient goals and typically incorporates cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), mindfulness based strategies, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) into her practice.

Emily enjoys working with people experiencing issues related to work including workplace anxiety, stress, burnout, trauma, and procrastination.

Emily also has a particular interest in the mind-body connection and she has worked extensively with people experiencing gut-related issues such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, having spent several years with the specialised Neurogastroenterology Centre at Queen Mary University of London. During her time there she ran a cognitive behavioural treatment program and completed research focusing on the effectiveness of psychological therapy for behavioural belching disorders.

Emily holds memberships with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and the Australian Psychological Society (APS).
