eastern oncology is a collaborative group of medical oncologists providing comprehensive clinical cancer services.

With the increasing complexity in cancer treatments we believe the "one-size fits all" approach no longer applies. As a group, we cover the majority of cancer types and have subspecialty expertise in a number of specific tumours.

?All of our physicians have a sound knowledge of cancer treatment, overseas clinical experience and participate actively in research. ????Eastern Oncology clinicians all have appointments at Eastern Health. Dr Hawkes is also a consultant medical oncologist at Austin Health. They have excellent working relationships with specialist surgeons and radiation oncologists facilitating seamless referral and multidisciplinary care. Our location at Epworth Eastern provides patients with all cancer services on site, including inpatient and outpatient chemotherapy, palliative care, pathology, intensive care, diagnostic and interventional radiology, PET scanning and MRI.
