Dr Zdenka Bartova completed her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2014 that focussed on the experiences of individuals with severe mental health conditions, and how these individuals can cope, adapt and recover from their problems. Zdenka works with clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and parenting difficulties. Zdenka has a strong academic record that includes First Class Honours, and winning the prestigious APS award for most outstanding thesis in her final year for her undergraduate degree. Her preferred approaches include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Supportive Counselling, and she incorporates techniques including mindfulness, interpersonal, and schema therapy.
