Dr Vivien Wong is dedicated to the care of women with urogynaecological and gynaecological issues and is focused in providing quality treatment to her patients. She has extensive experience in the assessment and management of women with pelvic floor dysfunction such as urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and pelvic or bladder pain syndrome.
She has a passion for research particularly in the field of pelvic floor ultrasound and is currently pursuing her PhD on the subject of prolapse management. Dr Wong is a conjoint senior lecturer at the University of Queensland, where she is involved in medical student education and also supervises the training of registrars and urogynaecology sub-specialty trainees. In addition to private practice, Dr Wong also works as a specialist at Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital, Brisbane as well as at Robina Hospital, Gold Coast.
Originally from Malaysia, Vivien has lived in Canada as well as Auckland, New Zealand, where she completed her medical degree and Obstetrics & Gynaecology training. She commenced her urogynaecology sub-specialty training in Sydney and completed this in Brisbane, where she now calls home. Apart from English, Vivien is conversant in Mandarin and Cantonese.
