I studied my M.D (Doctor of Medicine) Degree in Eastern Europe, at the State Medical University, Belarus.

After completion of my degree, I moved to Pakistan and worked there for a while, before migrating to Australia.

Upon arrival, I furthered my education at Victoria University, Melbourne, including Monash Medical Centre and Dandenong Hospital. My Registration Exams were completed with the Australian Medical Council, and then commenced work in North Queensland, doing my residency in North Queensland, working in a wide variety of fields include Medicine, Cardiology, Renal Medicine, Oncology, Surgery including Orthopaedics and Rural Medicine. I also worked in Intensive Care Medicine, Mental Health and Paediatrics.

After then moving to Sydney, I continued my work in Emergency Medicine and General Practice. I found General Practice to be more rewarding, and decided to pursue this as a career. I have gained a wide range of experience in all fields while working with people from all age groups and people from various cultural backgrounds.

I have professional memberships with FRACGP, ACRRAM, AHPRA and AMA for ongoing professional development and support.

I am able to communicate in many different languages including English, Urdu, Russian, Punjabi and Hindi.

My special interests are in Chronic Disease Management, Aboriginal Health, skin diseases and mental health conditions.
