Stuart Hayes has extensive experience working in a range of health and mental health settings assisting people to improve their lives. He has over six years experience working in the field of pain management, through both individual and group based treatments. He works predominantly from a cognitive behavioural approach, assisting people in developing skills for managing their pain, as well as improving their lives and overall well-being.
Stuart has completed a Bachelor of Psychology, with Honours, from Macquarie University as well as a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of New South Wales. He is a member of a number of professional organisations including the Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Clinical Psychology Association, the Australian Association of Cognitive and Behavioural Therapists as well as being a member of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists.
Stuart is approved by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a psychology clinical supervisor and has considerable experience in educating post-graduate psychology students, as well as other health professionals, in working with patients experiencing acute and chronic pain.
