Dr. Soroush Ebtash is an experienced and senior Sports Chiropractor with an in-depth understanding and interest in nutritional medicine. He is a member of Australian College of Nutritional and Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) and consults with patients for Chiropractic and Functional Medicine needs.

Hi, my name is Soroush and I am the Director and Sports Chiropractor at the Wellness Place. I find the roles extremely rewarding and thrive on seeing my patients getting better and gaining an understanding of what true health and wellbeing is.
Initially, I was inspired to become a chiropractor when I witnessed the effect of the treatments on my own mother, who had seen numerous health professionals and was basically told that she had “arthritis” and told to simply accept that she had to live with it. She was eventually put in touch with a chiropractor, who changed her life over the first 6 weeks of care. Since then, she has been more active than ever and has been a regular chiropractic patient for the past 17 years. I similarly started seeing a chiropractor, for the relief of severe headaches that I was continuously getting. Chiropractic treatments again proved to make a significant change to my life, and to this day I find this therapy to be the most effective method of treatment for most headache sufferers.
Prior to Bassendean Wellness Clinic, I worked at a couple of clinics in country Victoria and Melbourne. Following this, I did a short stint as an associate in a clinic in Perth before starting at Bassendean Wellness Clinic. I have been fortunate to be involved at different levels of sports throughout my career. I have worked with Swan Districts Football Club, where I was the Medical Coordinator and official team Chiropractor. I have acted as an advisor to WAIS cycling and WAIS Water polo teams and also looked after the National Water polo team for Beijing Olympics and was involved in the water polo National League as a Chiropractor to WA Torpedoes. I have also looked after multiple professional and amateur triathletes as well as many AFL teams and Soccer Clubs.
