Dr Sean Burnet has specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology for over 10 years. He has a gentle and kind demeanour and compassionately cares for women with gynaecological concerns or at any stage of their pregnancy. Dr Burnet completed his training at The Royal Hospital for Women in Sydney, as well completed his fellowship in advanced laparoscopic and pelvic surgery at the Sydney West Advanced Pelvic Surgery Unit. He is also involved in teaching medical students from the University of Sydney and the University of New South Wales.
Married with two children, Dr Burnet appreciates the joys of parenthood along with the anxieties around pregnancy and childbirth. Having been involved in the management of many pregnancies, he has developed the skills required to minimise risk and give the assurance to expecting patients. He recognises women’s autonomy around decisions related to childbirth and seeks to support women and their partners in these decisions.
